AMBALLOON command
Adds balloon annotations for geometry, blocks or standard parts annotated with part references.

Note: This command only works for drawings that contain mechanical entities. To set the environment for BricsCAD Mechanical drawings, see the Overview of 2D Mechanical Drawings commands article.
Method
Note:
- The balloon annotation is added to the AM_5 layer.
- The balloon annotations are compatible with the legacy AutoCAD® Mechanical application.
Select the part references from the current BOM for which you want to add balloons.
Options within command
- auTo
- Adds balloon annotations for all selected part references at once.Note: The starting points for the balloon arrowhead leaders are inside the part reference symbols.
- Horizontal
- Places the balloons horizontally.
- Vertical
- Places the balloons vertically.
- Angle
- Places the balloons in a specified direction.
- One
- Adds balloon annotation for one-by-one selected part reference.Note: You can select the starting point for the balloon arrowhead leader in the drawing.
- set Bom
- Allows you to choose which BOM to use.Note:
- When no Bill of Materials (BOM) is present in the drawing, a BOM named MAIN will be automatically generated.
- Part references that belong to the chosen BOM are highlighted in red to be easily selected.
- The part reference balloon number is according to the BOM used.

- Lists the existing BOM in the drawing on the Command line.
